Busy Week with a Great Ending

Well, both kiddos are asleep so I figured it would be a great opportunity to drop a line. A friend of mine said that I could have my blog made into a book. That is my wish for this blog. My hope is that one day Tyler and Avery can look back on what was going on during our day-to-day life growing up. This week we started Tyler in big-boy underwear. Of course we had to have Thomas the Train drawers. I'm amazed at how great he did. I knew he was ready, since we've been working on potty training for a long time. It just seemed like a big commitment to take of the good ol' faithful diaper that doesn't leak. We've only had a few minor accidents, and none while at school. It seems that he just doesn't like to "do the deed" in front of daddy. He was dry all week at school, and no accidents for mommy either!!! Woohoo. I can only imagine the money we are saving not spend 36 cents every 3-4 hours. Avery had a great week as well. She is really a fan...

Avery....6 months is here already!

My little girl is on the move already...I would still call it scooting, but she can definitely get from one side of the room to the other. Her 6 month check-up was today, and she is a bit 18lbs 14oz, and 27.5 inches. Just like Tyler was, she is in the 95-100th percentile for weight an height. I just recently started attempting to make bows to adorn her little head. I was looking for something fun to do while the kiddos sleep. Tyler fills my heart with love more and more each day! Yesterday, while at Target he said "thank you" to the cashier (I was buying him a "do-do", aka Thomas the train). I was sooo proud of my little man. I love it when he is in the living room and says, "be back" and he comes back with a toy for his sister. I'm still amazed everyday at the connection they have. He loves playing peek-a-boo with his sister, and his eyes light up when she laughs. He is going to start group speech therapy next week. I'm anxious to see ...
