WOOOHOOO

Tyler slept through the night last night....I think that says it all!!! I'm hoping tonight is a repeat, but either way we will love and cherish our little tyke! I never thought that it would take him until 6 months and 3 weeks until he would sleep through the night. I also never would've thought I could survive with so little sleep :)

The dreaded 6 month doctor check-up...

Tyler Jordan - 6 Months At the MD Renaissance Festival Stolling and cheesing The family Tyler loves looking at the "other" baby! Tyler and Mommy...What do you think of my new haircut?? He's happy before the shots!! Tyler and Charlotte...two cutie pies! Tyler and Charlotte aka The Monkey and Bunny Today, Tyler Jordan went for his 6 month check-up. We had a female U.S. Navy doctor this time, RDML Larson. She was extremely pleasant and commented on how well Tyler was socializing. He pretty much babbled the entire visit and smiled at her every time she looked his direction. She gave us tips on getting Tyler to sleep through the night and suggested to start him on eating lunch. As a mother who nursed two young boys, she understood my plight and seemed very empathetic to my needs for sleep. Our issue is a minor but complex problem, Tyler prefers nursing over the bottle. He's taught himself to be hungry more at night than during the day. She said that Tyler also pref...

Oktoberfest Haidaczuk Style

Daddy spiked my HAIR!! Happy October!! Sleepy time Tyler and cousin Brandon Grandpa, Tyler and Ernie At the Pumpkin patch Michelle, Tyler and Tara Well, little Tyler is almost 6 months. Where has the time gone? Tyler can now sit up unassisted (although he still topples over sometimes). He shakes his head "no", holds his hands out to be picked up and fusses when you take away his toy. The doctor said he is doing fantastic and reaching all of his milestones. His 6 month check-up is on the 27th, so we are curious to see his growth chart. At his last doctors appointment at 5 1/2 months, he weighed 20 lbs and 8 ounces. This past Columbus Day weekend we went pumpkin picking, visited a few goats and just enjoyed the beautiful weather. Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks... Our bundle of joy really makes everyday an excited day!

Lots of Changes

Well, I guess it was before Tyler was born that I last blogged. We've been a little busy with our newest addition. Tyler Jordan is healthy and happy. He also has a set bedtime of 830 which allows me to blog a little. I just realized that a weird beeping sound is my fire detector upstairs near his bassinet. It must be low battery again...jeez, I just hope it doesn't wake the baby, he needs his sleep. Don't worry, there isn't a fire...I checked. Today was our little man's first cold. I feel terrible, because I think I gave it to him. He rubs his little eyes and was sneezing all day. The poor little guy looks exhausted and has been sleeping a ton today. I weighed him yesterday, and he's a big 17.8 lbs. His 4 month check-up is in 2 weeks. We are excited to have the doctor let us know how he's doing. We are headed to the Haidaczuk Family Reunion in New Hampshire this week. We are super excited to see everyone and get a little vacation time. We are also looking fo...

Tyler's Room

Baby Tyler will be here soon!!!! The room is small but filled with love and baseball! We just wanted to share a few pictures of Tyler's room. We are finally finished with the decorating and painting. After painting Tyler's room we even got inspired and painted our living room too! I'll try to post more pictures of my belly soon. It's amazing how big my belly is!!!

3d Ultrasound Pictures

Image
We are extremely excited to share our baby Tyler's 3D ultrasound pictures! He was extremely shy which seems to be the trend with every ultrasound! Every time we would get close to getting a good picture he would cover his eyes with his hands, or put his feet right in his face. The nurse said that he seems to love to be all balled up in the breech position. She also said that she thinks he is going to be a long baby boy! He's extremely active and kicks and punches so hard I can see my belly move! Rob and I took Payton and Nasser on a walk along the Mt. Vernon trail last weekend. The trail starts at George Washington's house and ends in Arlington, VA. We totaled 6 miles and we saw 2 bald eagles. The weather was unseasonably warm here, so we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather. Here are a couple of pictures from that trip also. We love you all and hope you have a fabulous week!

Haidaczuk Family First Blog

I'm new at this blogging concept, but figured it would be a great forum to update information about our baby boy. First off, if you haven't heard the good word, we've chosen to name our baby boy, Tyler Jordan Haidaczuk. At our last ultrasound on the 21st of December, he weighed an astonishing 1 lb 2 ounces. That weight doubled since his prior ultrasound 2 weeks earlier. Needless to say, dad was extremely proud of that weight gain! We are still extremely active with work, the gym, and daily errands. Little Tyler must be extremely happy because he is constantly on the move. He kicks and punches like a pro-wrestler. If it wasn't for the ultrasound pictures I would be sure that Tyler has 8 arms. We had a great Christmas vacation in Chaumont, New York. It snowed on Christmas eve which made the holidays even better. While in New York I was surprised with a family and friends baby shower thrown by Rob's parents. Baby Tyler was showered with lots of gifts to include his fir...
